INTRODUCTION

Lane Cove Cricket Club has been a proud member of the Lane Cove community for over 111 years! The club welcomes all newcomers and encourages parental involvement in the development of our up and coming stars! Boys and girls are welcome. We will be registering for Junior Training Squad (8's and under) and teams in the Under 9's through to U16's.

SEASON CALENDER

• First Round* Saturday 17 th September 2005
• Second Round* Saturday 24 th September 2005
• Third Round + U9s + JTS Start Saturday 15 th October 2005
• Last day before XMas Saturday 10th December 2005
• Resume Saturday 4th February 2006
• Final Round Saturday 11th March 2006
• Semi Final Saturday 18th March 2006
• Finals Saturday 25th March 2006

*Please note U9's and the JTS do not use these dates

TIMES/LOCATIONS

• Junior Training Squad is conducted at Kingsford Smith Oval Longueville Saturday Mornings 8:30am until 10:00am 00am and commences on Saturday 15th October and runs in line with school terms.
• All games are conducted on the North Shore-ranging from St.Ives to Mosman.
• U9+U10 matches are morning only with 2 time slots 8am-10am and 10am -12noon.
• U11's and older will have the option of a Saturday morning competition 9am until midday or a Saturday afternoon competition midday until 3:00pm . Each team may be required to play games on a Sunday. Sunday games will be 9:00am until midday . Any team wishing to play games on the Sunday morning should inform John Lloyd (Details below.)

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Each team requires a coach, a manager, an umpire and a scorer. Some of these duties can be doubled up on the day. The senior club will provide some coaching assistance to all sides throughout the course of the season.

There are courses available to parents who wish to assist in any of the above duties. LCCC will fully fund your attendance at these courses.

Please let me know ASAP if you wish to take any of these courses (venues TBA) - the dates are :

•  Coaches/Managers information evening
     - Monday 12th September 7.30pm

•  Umpire Courses
     - Tuesday 11th October and Wednesday 19th October

•  Scorers Workshop
     - 7.30pm Monday 17th October  

PAYMENT + Registration

Sundays…..7 th ,14 th and 21st August at Kingsford-Smith Oval (The Pavilion) 10am-12noon

To ensure your child is covered by insurance, please make sure registration fees are paid before the season starts! Details are on the registration form.

Cheques can be made out to Lane Cove Cricket Club and posted to PO Box 791 Lane Cove 1595.

Representative Trials

Trials will be held on Sunday 11 th and 18 th of September.
